David Giacopelli
Retired Police Captain
David was born in 1953 and grew up in Brentwood Missouri. After graduating from Brentwood High School in 1972, he joined the US Navy. Upon completing his tour with the Navy in 1975, David decide to follow in the footsteps of his father who had made a career with the Brentwood Mo police Department. This was the beginning of David’s law enforcement career.
In 1975, David became a member of the Ladue Mo. Police Department. He remained with Ladue until 1985. After leaving Ladue, David served with the Rock Hill and Lake St Louis Police Departments. In 2006 David became a member of the Warson Woods Police Department where he serve in many positions including Assistant Chief of Police. In 2015, David decided it was time to retire from police work.
From 1990 to 1995, David was the President of Gateway Investigations. Below you will see pictures of David’s law enforcement memorabilia. David currently resides in Rock Hill.
