Bridgeton Terrace was incorporated in the late 1940's. The complete city was elimated due to a buy out of property for Lambert Airport in the early 1980's
Castlewood is an area located in the western section of the county along the Meramec River. This area is mainly known for recreation.

Cool Valley incorporated in 1951. The city is located in North County and is a 4th class city. Unfortunately, in 2013 the Police Department was eliminated. Police protection provided by Normandy.
Country Club Hills
Country Club Hills is a 4th class city located in North County. They incorporated in 1943 and provide their own police service.
Bridgeton incorporated in 1843 and operates under a charter form of government. Bridgeton is located in the North County Area and maintains their own police department.
Brentwood incorporated in 1919 and operates as a 4th class city. Brentwood is located in the Mid County area and provides their own police services.
Breckenridge Hills incorporated in 1950 as a 4th class city. Located in the Mid County area, they provide their own police service.
Bel-Ridge became a village in 1947. They are located in Mid County and provide their own police service.
Bel-Nor became a village in 1937. They are located in North County and provide their own police srevice..
Berdell Hills became a village in the 1940's. In 1977 they consolidated with the city of Normandy.
Berkeley incorporated in 1937 and operates under a charter form of government. They are located in the North County area and maintains their own police department.
Crestwood
Crestwood incorporated in 1947 and operates under a charter. They are located in the South County area and provides their own police services.
Beverly Hills incorporated in 1933 as a 4th class city. This city is located in Mid County and has their own police department.

Fenton is one of the older towns in the county. They incorporated as a 4th class city in 1874. In the early 1990's the city fathers decide to elimate their police department and contract for service through St. Louis County.
Ferguson incorporated in 1894 and operates under a charter form of government. They are located in North County and maintain their own police department.

Elmdale
The Village of Elmdale was a small subdivision located just South of Berkeley and North of St John. According to a 1940 population map of St Louis County , the area of Elmdale had 340 people. In 1966 the Village consolidated with St John.
